How to Enter
Eligible entrants may enter through one or more of the following methods. Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the requirements below.
Method A — Seller Entry
One entry is awarded for each residential property listed under an exclusive listing agreement with RE/MAX Medalta Real Estate for a minimum 90-day term. An eligible entry is created when the qualifying agreement is signed and the property is entered for the contest. Re-listed properties previously entered in this contest do not create an additional entry.
Method B — Buyer Entry
One entry is awarded for each Exclusive Buyer's Brokerage Agreement with RE/MAX Medalta Real Estate having a minimum 90-day term. An eligible entry is created when the qualifying agreement is signed and entered for the contest. A new agreement relating to the same buyer and substantially the same representation period does not create an additional entry solely because it is renewed, replaced, or amended.
Method C — Free Mail-In Entry (No Purchase Necessary)
To enter without listing, buying, or entering into a brokerage agreement, hand-print your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, and signature on a card and mail it in a separate envelope to: RE/MAX Medalta Real Estate, #109, 1235 Southview Drive SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1B 4K3. One free mail-in entry per person and per envelope. Mail-in entries must be received by December 15, 2026.
Multiple Entries
An eligible person may receive more than one entry through qualifying transactions or agreements under Methods A and B. A person may also submit one free mail-in entry under Method C. Each eligible entry has an equal opportunity to be selected in a draw. Regardless of the number or method of entries, an entrant may win only one prize.
Joint Buyers, Sellers or Co-Owners
Where a qualifying listing or buyer brokerage agreement includes more than one client, the clients must designate one individual as the contest entrant for that qualifying entry. The designated entrant must meet all eligibility requirements.
Eligibility
Open to legal residents of Alberta, Canada, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
RE/MAX Medalta Real Estate agents and staff are not eligible.
Immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, or sibling) of any RE/MAX Medalta Real Estate agent or staff member are not eligible.
Entries are non-transferable.
Draw & Winner Selection
All three draws will take place on December 18, 2026 at the RE/MAX Medalta Real Estate office in Medicine Hat, Alberta, from all eligible entries received by the contest closing deadline. The draws will be conducted at random under the supervision of a RE/MAX Medalta Real Estate representative, in the following order:
First Draw: $1,000 Cash
Second Draw: $2,000 Cash
Grand Prize Draw: $3,000 Cash
Each eligible entry will remain in the draw pool until the entrant associated with that entry is selected as a winner. Once an entrant has been confirmed as a winner, that entrant and all entries associated with that entrant will be removed from subsequent draws. An entrant may win only one prize.
If a selected entrant is ineligible, fails to satisfy the winner requirements, cannot be reached, or does not claim the prize within the required period, an alternate entrant will be selected by random draw.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Claiming Your Prize
Selected entrants will be contacted by phone and/or email using the contact information provided with their entry.
A selected entrant has 30 days from the date of notification to claim the prize and satisfy all winner requirements.
Before being declared a confirmed winner and receiving a prize, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.
Selected entrants may be required to sign a declaration confirming eligibility, compliance with these rules, and a release before the prize is awarded.
Prizes will be paid by cheque, made payable to the confirmed winner, and are non-transferable.
For a joint qualifying transaction or agreement, the prize is awarded only to the individual designated as the contest entrant.
Prize values are stated in Canadian dollars. Winners are responsible for any taxes or other obligations, if applicable.
General Conditions
RE/MAX Medalta Real Estate reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest if circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect the integrity or proper administration of the contest, including fraud, technical failure, or other unforeseen events. Any material modification will be announced through the same channels used to promote the contest.
By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for contest administration purposes in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
Confirmed winners may be invited to participate in reasonable promotional activities, including social media announcements or photographs. Participation is voluntary, and declining does not affect prize eligibility.
This contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and applicable federal laws of Canada and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules and the decisions of RE/MAX Medalta Real Estate relating to the administration of the contest.
Skill-Testing Question
Before being declared a confirmed winner and receiving a prize, each selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by a RE/MAX Medalta Real Estate representative. The question will follow standard order-of-operations rules (BEDMAS) and will be in the form:

Privacy
Personal information collected through this contest will be used solely for administering the contest and, where the entrant separately consents, for promotional purposes. RE/MAX Medalta Real Estate will not sell entrant information or share it with third parties except as required by law or as reasonably necessary to administer the contest.
